[1:14,5] Stahl LR632 Liebherr track Loader [English inside]

Hi to the german community,

I dont know if it's ok to post in english but I wanted to let you know Iam a new owner of the Stahl LR632 !

After a couple years of wattchin videos on the net and reading your forum, I bought it from TTM Modellbau a few weeks ago. Mr Thiel at TTM was of great help during the whole process and I must thank him for takin the time to explain many things to me.

i went to his shop in early february, he had the demo model available for me to use it, after a few seconds I was totally addicted to this laderaupe and i bought it !
I went back home with all the parts and started to build it, but when I saw the hydraulic explanations was impossible for me to understand in german, i was in big troubles.
all the manual is in german only, I hope someday there will be an english translation, I'm sure this will increase sales a lot.

So i was in big troubles cause I never build anything in RC and didnt knew anything about electric or hydraulics. So i had to send the model back to TTM and asked Mr Thiel to build and paint it for me.

He spent 3 weeks and then I came back to his shop to take delivery of the finished model, it looks soooooooooooo good I cannot believe it and I was very happy of the final product.

I kknow you are RC construcion veteran and will probably think it's a waste of time and money not to build it myself but I couldnt afford any error when building a model that expensive !

This week I worked a lot with the model, on sandbox as you will see in the videos, and it worked great. except I had one problem with a piece in the left track mechanics. TTM Will provide a replacement part soon I guess and so far Im able to work quiet good. I've not yet really made any cosmetics change, will do that later as Im focusing on materizing the controls with my FC16.

Theses videos are a tribute to this wonderful Machine, I hope many more people will buy it as Mr Stahl really deserved it !

If you have any help, ideas, recommandations, please feel free to post it as I dont read german and therefore cannot understand the various post about this model.

Hi all,

Even if nobody answered I thought of giving you new pictures.

Recently I had to change 2 pieces, the attach between the front cylinder and the front plate and the left front wheel which was bent.

Damaged attach :

Hopefully with one friend we managed to unscrew all screws from the left wheel, difficult because of the epoxy paints
And the result is a lot better :




So far no more issues with tracks getting out of her rail

As for the front attach, Mr Stahl sent me another one, new version which should work better


but in the meantime another friend helped me built a new, little taller attach :


This one is the one Im using for now.

I've made some esthtic changes on the loader as well, mainly doing my own decals to have something closer to the original LIEBHERR 632 model:



Especially the LR632 Litronic decals wich was wrong in the base kit:


And I made my own technical data plate :


Also I've got a brand new bow to transport this heavy equipment :










So far so good, Im enjoying operating the loader in various conditions and mini scenarios. I've made a guide to operating the RC Track loader (in french for now ) and I've made a you tube playlist featuring every scenarios featuring in the guide :

Thank you Jens, I like to watch videos from RC Models as well and I carefully place my camera to obtain the best angle and realism view when I film myself.

It's only a mobile phone but the quality is quiet good overall.
